Oneonta, AL: Johnson & Hayes Physical Therapists™ (J&H), a private, outpatient orthopedic practice with locations in Guntersville, Alabama, Hampton Cove, Alabama, Madison, Alabama and Huntsville, Alabama, today announced the opening of its sixth physical therapy clinic. The new clinic, located in Oneonta, AL at 28256 State Hwy 75, Suite A, Oneonta, AL 35121, continues the trend of state-of-the-art Johnson & Hayes facilities.
This location previously known as Rehab 2000, was owned and operated by Rick Sanders, PT. Rick recently announced his retirement from the field of physical therapy after 41 years contributing to the health and wellness of countless members of communities in and around Oneonta. Rick is excited to announce that he sold his practice to J&H Physical Therapists when making the decision to retire. “J&H is one of the most respected physical therapy practices in the Huntsville and surrounding communities. That is why I chose to sell my practice to J&H”, said Rick Sanders, PT. “I know they will continue to properly care for the community I have had the privilege to treat my entire career.”
Johnson & Hayes opened their first clinic 20 years ago in Huntsville, AL. They have been a pillar in the Madison County community since that time, expanding their clinic footprint to serve thousands of local patients annually. The J&H team is excited to expand their presence to serve the Blount County community, beginning with their new Oneonta location. “Scott and I are honored that Rick chose us to continue his legacy within his beloved community. We aim to continue to provide the same great patient care that Rick gave to his patients.,” said Todd Hayes, PT, Co-Founder of Johnson & Hayes Physical Therapists. “We opened our first clinic in 2003 with a vision to provide extraordinary physical therapy to the people of Madison County. At that time, we couldn’t have imagined that we’d have the opportunity to bring our care to so many people through the expansion of our clinic footprint. Our growth is a testament to the loyalty of our fantastic patients, referral sources, and our amazing staff.”
Scott and Todd are proud of the relationships they and their staff have built with their patients over the years and they are thrilled to have the opportunity to establish new relationships in Oneonta. “Oneonta has a strong community presence that Todd and I are beyond excited to now be a part of,” said Scott Johnson, PT, Co-Founder of Johnson & Hayes Physical Therapists. “We want everyone who walks through our doors to have a phenomenal patient experience. At the end of their treatment regimen, our patients should be able to return to the hobbies they love and their normal activities of daily living,” said Scott. The Oneonta location will provide many of the same services J&H is known for, including orthopedic and musculo-skeletal programs, vestibular rehabilitation (dizziness), and return-to-sport therapy.
